Gilly
Gilly, who serves as Sam’s love interest and partner was supposed to be way younger than she is shown on the screen. She was a teenager and even though Hannah Murray is able to capture the character’s innocence, she looks mature. Martin writes, “she was younger than he’d (Sam) thought at first. A girl of fifteen or sixteen years, he judged”. In A Clash of Kings, we further get to know that, “Gilly was dark-haired and slim, with the big brown eyes of a doe.”
