All Eyes On Me

Jane in the post said that she had clearly mentioned a year back that she would be marrying in the month of August the upcoming year. And in her eyes, a year is more than enough for everyone to chart out their plans. She asked all her bridesmaids, including Samara and her other friends that she did not want them to create any situations which divert the guests’ attention from her to them. What does that mean?

Not Visible

In the post, she writes, “It was my personal preference that neither of my bridesmaids should be visibly pregnant on my The Day”.Jane did not give any further explanations as to why she had a preference like that. And this was not all. Her reaction later to her sister’s health further shocks everyone.

Inconvenient Timing

As Samara was aware of this preference of Jane, she assured her that she wouldn’t conceive until April 2019, that meant by her wedding date she would only be 4 months pregnant and she won’t even have a baby bump. But when she conceived in January itself, she thought that Jane would understand how beautiful blessing it was, but no she was wrong.

Asking For Advice

Jane in the same post asked other brides-to-be to help her out in planning her wedding and the related chores. Now that her sister couldn’t be a part of her big day, she needed help and some advice. Unfortunately, instead of helping Jane, people had some blunt reactions to her post.

How Selfish

While Jane expected that other members would shower some love and sympathy on her, nothing like that happened. There was immense outrage. A bride commented, “if it meant anything to me that my sister was there, I wouldn’t care if she was pregnant”. Another one wrote, “God forbid, the bride got any nephew or niece to love for the rest of her life. How dare she act like that.”

No Problems

Every bride at some point gets anxious about all the wedding preparations. She has been dreaming about how she wants her wedding day to be. Certainly, Jane too had some expectations out of this day. She did not want any mess or problems that day. And when she talked about problems, she got Samara into the discussion as well.
