No Payments

The next morning the first thing Thomas did was to check his accounts to see if the payment was done. Still nothing. It seemed like time wasn’t on his side as he didn’t get a single chance to visit the family and now it was almost a year and still no payment was made by the family. Thomas knew there was a family living in his house but they seemed like a ghost. They never called nor met any of their neighbors. What was this family? Was it even one?
