The Allende Meteorite

This meteorite crashed in Mexico in 1969. Surprisingly, it was the size of a car before it crashed and got scattered away in pieces all over the place. It is the most famous meteorite and researchers still study it. It is believed that this meteorite is 4.6 billion years old. It is made up of silicates, oxides, sulfides, water, organic compounds, and various other minerals. These are the same elements that are found in the Sun and Planets.
