The Best Of The Litter

Romans had quite a dangerous method to know who is the best of all the puppies. They used to keep the pups with their mother inside a circle made of oil. Soon they set the circle on fire. The mother would save her pups one by one. The Romans used to sit and wait for the mother to get her pups out of the ring of fire. According to them the pup she brought out first was the best one.
