Platypus

This egg-laying, duck faced, beaver-tailed and feet like the otter is considered as the weirdest animal in the world. Their look can easily tell that it must have been here for a very long time hence making it a prehistoric creature. The oldest found fossils are about 100,000 years old, which means the first platypus lived in the supercontinent of Gondwana some 170 million years ago.
