Into Their Chamber

This 500 million-year-old ancient aquatic animal has been seeing a drastic decline in their population because of the fact that they are difficult to breed in confinement. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is trying its best in researching and breeding the Nautilus. They have successfully bred some in the captivity.

Babirusas

Stop looking at it and wipe that disgusting look from your face because Babirusas are kind of celebrity. Some 35,000 years ago when ancient human started the cave paintings you can easily spot Babirusas in them. You can say, they are the ancestors of modern-day pigs except for a slight change. These weird looking tusks that grow upwards right through in the middle of their face can grow so long that if left unchecked can even pierce through their foreheads. Are they also extinct?

Where Are They Now?

Babirusas have this weird tusks that grow between their face and if you ignore the tusks you can see that it looks similar to the pig version of an Orc. Today, several tour operators can take you on a safari in the Nantu Forest and Tangkoko Nature Reserve in Indonesia and if you are lucky enough you can spot few Babirusas bathing or resting or eating in the wild.
