Stephen was a member of Ohio chapter so he asked the Pittsburgh chapter’s president to help him with the woman named “Stacey Faix” and there he got the missing puzzle of his life. Stephen never thought that the marathon he was a part since long would only provide him the answers to his past.

 Team RWB

Strawn was told that Stacey is a member of Pittsburgh’s chapter of Team Red, White Blue (RWB). And this was one of the teams which supports the veterans. And luckily, the upcoming Sunday, Faix was running the marathon. Stephen knew what he was supposed to do next.

Be Prepared

One of the coolest advice that the masters of marathon give are that “always be prepared for the worst when you get on the track”. Though Stacey was a marathon runner since long, she had never expected that this advice was what she will have to face today.

The Letter

Just before the marathon began, a man came and handed over to Stacey a letter. She had no clues what was written in it. Nor did she know who had given it to her. And as she began reading the words that were inked, tears rolled from her eyes.

Surprised

The letter read this, ” it’s been 13,075 days since you last saw me. I didn’t want to make you wait for 1 more”. Stephen had been longing to meet his birth mother. And now that he knew who she was how could have he stopped himself from not meeting her.

My Son

Faix could not believe what she just read. And when Stephen approached her she was baffled. Stephen narrates him the entire tale and Stacey was utterly shocked. It was her son, the one she had to offer for adoption 35 years back.
