Rare Spinal Stroke

A spinal stroke only estimates for 1.25% of all strokes. As our spinal cord is totally based on the blood supply any disturbance in the supply can result in serious injuries or affect any part of the body including the brain. Riona Kelly was informed that she had a very rare spinal stroke which meant a disorder of the spinal cord’s blood supply. What made it worse for her was that as a result of this stroke her body was paralyzed from the waist down. The doctors stayed clear and honest with Riona and said the heartbreaking truth.
