SimranNormal Day At Work
Just like any other day, Todd and Lucas were on duty, patrolling the streets and ready for anything that could come up. But that day wasn’t just like any other day and they were yet to find it out. Though for people working in the police department a normal day can mean anything, they didn’t have any clue about what was going to happen that could possibly change their lives forever.
Patrolling
As usual, Todd was driving outside the town and he was patting on the back of his favorite dog when he saw a car parked on the side of the road. It seemed suspicious to him because people never used to stop at that side of the road. He waited for a while because he thought that the driver might have some important call to attend. But even after a couple of minutes, the driver didn’t move. It was then he became concerned about the situation. What was the reason that the car parked in the middle of the road?
Thoughts
Several thoughts were running inside his mind, he thought what if the driver was in danger or someone might have hurt him. He opened the door to come out of the car but Lucas caught his coat by his teeth as if he didn’t want him to go. Why was Lucas acting strange? Was the man in danger or was Todd stepping into a dangerous situation?
Stubborn
Todd found it quite strange because the dog never used to do this but he had to find out what was wrong with the car and why wasn’t it moving. It didn’t seem like the car had met with an accident, so he thought it would be better if he checked what was happening. Besides, it was his duty too to protect the public so he stepped out of his car and started to walk towards the car.
Finding Out
Todd noticed that the headlights of the car were turned off which made him more doubtful about the car. Had someone left the car and went away? But why would anyone do such a thing? Now he was quite alert as he could sense that something was uncanny about the car. Was he overthinking or something was really there?
Doubts
He was reluctant to take steps forward, he could hear his dog’s bark but he didn’t stop he had to find out what was there inside the car. As he came closer he saw that blue Lincoln Town Car, which was the least expensive of all the cars that the company used to manufacture. So he predicted that the person could be just an average earning man and hence ruled out the possibility of the man being robbed. Then what might have happened?
